Summer Meet in Vännäs
The time for entries is up.
No more entries can be accepted.!

On request from many members the Summer Meet now comes to the northern part of Sweden, to Västerbotten and Vännäs, some 30 km to the north west of Umeå.

Friday July 2

• 10.00 The secretariat opens at the Vännäs Läger.
  The participants will be split into two groups for the study visit to the Volvo Truck  cab factory in Umeå.
• 12.00 Common departure to Umeå for group # 1.
• 13.00 Common departure to Umeå for group # 2.
• 17.00 Back in Vännäs.
• 19.00 Barbeque at the Vännäs Hotel and inauguration of the Summer Meet.

Saturday July 3

The Summer Meet club rally

• 08.30 First start. Drop in-start until 10.00.
  Start from Vännäs Läger.
  Along the rally there will be coffee and hot dogs served.
• At the Goal latest at 16.00.
• Wheels Nat’s Norr in Umeå is going on this day. The rally will pass by and in the eveneing there will be Wheels cruising in Umeå..
• 18.00 Buffét at the Lilja school dining room. BYO drinks.

Söndag 4 juli

• 09.00 Marknet and cars  exhibition.
• 11.00 Prize ceremony.
• 12.00 The summer meet is closing.

The Vännäs   motor museum will be open during the meet. Entrance fee SEK 30 per person.

Friday barbeque at the Vännäs Hotel:

SEK 100 per adult,  SEK 50 per child up to 12 years of age. One softdrink or light beer included. Other drinks for sal in the bar. Notify us about any special meal requirements.

Saturday buffét at the Lilja school:

SEK 220 per adult, SEK 110 per child up to 12 years of age.One softdrink or light beer included. Other beverages BYO. Notify us about any special meal requirements.

How to pay

The cost for the barbeque and dinner shall be paid to the  Svenska Volvo PV-klubbens giro account 922840-4, bank giro account 515-4679 or as agreed with the organizers latest May 30 2008. State Summer Meet dinner, name and membership number.

Where can I stay?

Rooms in the meeting area Lägret Double rooms fully booked
27 single- and 12 double rooms avaiable. Price SEK 350 per night and room.
Bedding not included

Caravan sites with electricity hookup.
SEK 100 per night. Also caravan sites wothout electricity and tent sites will be available.

Lilja school.
15 single rooms, SEK 200 per night. Bedding not included.
4 two bed rooms , SEK 400 per night and bed. Bedding not included Double rooms fully booked
Lilja school is on walking distance from the Lägret.
