Volvo P 210

After the holidays in 1960 Volvo carried out all the changes previousely made on the 544 also on
the Duett. The model-name was changed to P210.
In 1961 the Duett got a 12 volt electrical system and the new B18 engine which made the almost
indestructible car even more durable. In 1965 new, silver colored wheels with oval cooling holes for
the brakes came but after that the Duett was made without bigger changes until February 1969.
Since Sweden had new laws that demanded crash-tests from January 1969 the last cars could not
be sold in Sweden so they were all, except from the very last, exported. The very last Duett is at the
Volvo Muséum in Gothenburg.
More detailed info about the Duett is in the PV-klubben
members directory.
