| September It is very easy to determine when this picture was taken. The sisters and brothers Lasse, Gunnar and Lena Nyberg are removing the tape from the right asymmetric headlights. The date is September 2 1967, the day before Sweden changed to right hand traffic. In the drivers seat their father Lennart is attaching a right hand traffic sticker on the dashboard. Lennart Nyberg worked at the head office of the Svensk Bilprovning (The Swedish Vehicle Inspection Company) as a senior accountant from the start in 1965 until his retirement in 1989. The picture was taken at the Klippgatan in Sundbyberg. Beside the 544 is a 1956 PV444KS that blocks the view of an Opel Rekord Caravan A or B almost completely. On the main road a Fiat 850, a Scania Vabis L76 and a Ford truck from the D-series. Photo Märta Nyberg |
