Wide contact area
How can you keep in touch in a club with 5400 members? If you can
not go to the club HQ in Stockholm every Wednesday there are three
other ways to meet and exchange experiences.
1. Club meetings are the natural way to get together. Each year there
are about 20 meetings arranged by the club. To that figure you can
add numerous meetings arranged by other clubs and then there are at
least a hundred places to meet.
2. Those who do not go to meetings are lucky enough to have our
eminent magazines. Here you find articles and reports from our hobby.
Maybe you´ll find a friend on the pictures from our meetings. Then you
can find the car you want in the classified ads and come along.
3. Our web site has 130-140 visitors daily. Here you can quickly get
information about the club activeties, ask questions and even
advertise. 50% of all joining new members apply for membership by
using the form on the web site. The board belives this media will be an
important part of our information exchange with our members. So far it
is not possible to order anything on the web site, but that is coming. If
you have any ideas, contact our webmaster on Martin Hurt on his
email hurt@online.ee.
These are the three main contact areas of the Svenska Volvo
PV-klubben. As a member you are welcome to help us to refine them
further. Get in touch with someone on the board and say what you think
or what you can do.
